In the award-winning film Dear Jiz, genderqueer porn star Jiz Lee gets naked, bathes and then masturbates in an old fashioned claw foot bath tub under running water. As the water rises, the voices of Jiz’s many fans echo in their head. These voices, taken from emails and letters, tell of how Jiz’s trailblazing genderqueer identity made a difference to others, promoting exploration, acceptance and joy in their lives.

Shot at the 2013 Feminist Porn Awards, Dear Jiz was a collaboration between Jiz Lee and Ms. Naughty. Asked to voice a fantasy to accompany a masturbation scene, Jiz instead suggested reading the letters, becoming emotional at times. The result is a moving rumination on gender identity, body image and sexuality. And it’s also very sexy.

The film screened at numerous film festivals and in 2019 was an exhibit in a special art exhibition in New York: On Our Backs The Revolutionary Art of Queer Sex Work
